My works are done in the traditional form of art, etching techniques, aquatint. Through plenty of possibilities which present time offers us, I try to stay constant in finding my own way, trying to find myself fulfilled and independent. On my prints, I am reconstructing some of my thoughts, and what is most important for me is not to lose the emotional state, without which art has no value.
Portraits and landscapes are the themes through which I express my feelings the best.
My attention is set on pointing out the light and on what represents the battle of real and unreal. Before prints I always make drawings based on a model, either it is a portrait or a landscape, in a way that I see it. My drawing is never completely transfer d on a print. In a way, my prints are made like a mosaic; different elements are combined in one composition. Landscapes offer us visually wide and open spaces of light variations, which are giving us the key to open the inner essence which stands between the author and the object.
